Brooke Fraser - Lord of Lords

Beholding Your beauty is all that I long for
To worship You, Jesus, is my soul’s desire
For this very heart you have shaped for Your pleasure
Purposed to lift your name high
Here, in surrender, in pure adoration
I enter Your courts with an offering of praise
I am Your servant, come to bring You glory
As it’s fit for the work of Your hands

Now unto the Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of creation resounds with the song
Worship and praise Him, the Lord of Lords

The Spirit now living and dwelling within me
Keep my eyes fixed ever on Jesus’ face
Let not the things of this world ever sway me
I’ll run ‘til I finish the race

Singing unto the Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of eternity echoes the song
Worship and praise Him, the Lord of Lords

Holy, Lord, You are holy
Jesus Christ is the Lord

Now unto the Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
Call all the sinners to join in the song
Worship and praise Him, the Lord of Lords

Sanctification

“We take the term sanctification much too lightly. Are we prepared for what sanctification will cost? It will cost an intense narrowing of all our interests on earth, and an immense broadening of all our interests in God. Sanctification means intense concentration on God’s point of view. It means every power of body, soul and spirit chained and kept for God’s purpose only.”

Talking at the Wall: "I know it's wrong but God forgives!"

Do you suppose, O man - you who judge those who practice such [unrighteousness] and yet do them yourself - that you will escape the judgement of God? Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead to repentance?

Prevenient Grace

Before I ever knew to even seek God, He first sought me.

Thank You, God, for giving me a desire to pursue You. For I know even my faith is graciously provided and sustained by You alone. Thank You for choosing me and calling me, an undeserving sinner. I have nothing to offer You, no redeeming qualities, yet you have chosen me. Without Your grace I would still be lost and at war with You. Truly, what amazing grace!

Lord Jesus, give me an even greater hunger and thirst for You. Help me never to be content with my knowledge about You, but to continually desire fellowship with You, to hunger for Your Word more than I hunger food for the body, and to have an unending love for You made evident through my obedience to Your commands. May I never be complacent, but always desire more of You. You alone satisfy. You alone are my Rock, my Lord, my Savior. Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow!

The reason for presenting that petition (“Lead us not into temptation.”) must be, because we are so weak and frail. We ask that we may not be burdened, for our back is not strong; and we plead that we may not have sin put before us in any of its enticing forms, for, oftentimes, the flesh borrows strength from the world, and even from the devil, and these allied powers will be too much for us unless the omnipotence of God shall be exerted on our behalf to hold us up lest we fall.

If you sincerely drink poison, it will kill you. You must not only be sincere, but you must be right.
